Ingredients

Boil the potatoes until they are soft. Peel and mash them.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add finely chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Sauté for a minute.

Add the mashed potatoes, salt to taste, and chopped cilantro. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Let the mixture cool.

Divide the potato mixture into equal portions and shape them into balls.

In a bowl, mix chickpea flour with water to make a thick batter. Add a pinch of salt.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
