- spinach150 g
- pine nuts50 g
- onion1 medium
- garlic2 cloves
- cinnamon1 tsp
- salt0,5 tsp
- black pepper0,25 tsp
- vegetable oil100 ml
Instructions
- 1
Rinse the bulgur wheat under cold water and let it soak for about 20 minutes. Drain well.
- 2
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked bulgur, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 3
Finely chop the onion and garlic. In a pan, heat a small amount of vegetable oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- 4
Add the spinach to the pan and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 5
Toast the pine nuts in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown. Set aside.
- 6
Preheat the remaining vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 7
Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a small amount of the spinach mixture and a few pine nuts in the center, then fold the meat around the filling to form a ball or oval shape.
- 8
Carefully fry the kibbeh in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 9
Remove the kibbeh from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- 10
Serve warm, garnished with additional pine nuts if desired.
