Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
While the gnocchi is cooking, chop the tomatoes into small pieces and trim the asparagus, cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
In a large ovenproof skillet or baking dish, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the chopped tomatoes and asparagus to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes start to break down and the asparagus is tender.
Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss everything together to combine.
Grate the parmesan cheese and sprinkle it evenly over the top of the gnocchi mixture.
Transfer the skillet or baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Tomato and Asparagus Gnocchi Bake!
