Heat the oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add the chopped garlic and slit green chilli, sauté until the garlic is golden brown.

Add the cabbage core sticks and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Pour in the pickle oil and mix well.

Sprinkle the red chilli powder, turmeric, and salt to taste, and stir to combine.

Add the lemon juice, sugar, and soy sauce, and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
