Soak the soya chunks in hot water for about 15 minutes until they become soft. Drain and squeeze out excess water.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the coated soya chunks and stir-fry until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
