Boil the soya chunks in water for 5-7 minutes until they are soft. Drain and squeeze out the excess water.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.

Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.

Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the boiled soya chunks and mix to coat them with the spices.
