- garlic, thinly sliced6 cloves
- red pepper flakes1 teaspoon
- fresh parsley, chopped1 tablespoon
- salt1 teaspoon
- black pepper0,5 teaspoon
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dry spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- 2
While the pasta is cooking, heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 3
Add the thinly sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté gently for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and just beginning to turn golden (do not let it burn).
- 4
Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for 30 seconds.
- 5
Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.
- 6
Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic and oil. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- 10
