1Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Wash the potatoes and prick them several times with a fork. Bake for 1 hour or until tender.
While the potatoes are baking, cook the hamburger and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the hamburger is browned and the onions are soft.
Drain any excess fat from the skillet and stir in the can of chili. Heat through.
Once the potatoes are done, make a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the inside with a fork.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to each potato and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon the chili and hamburger mixture over each potato.
Top with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
Return the potatoes to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
