Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter. Add the chopped red onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the peas to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.
Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them back to the skillet. Pour in the Italian dressing and tequila. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the pasta and mix well.
Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the pasta and stir until melted and well combined.
Serve hot and enjoy your Spicy Garlic Chicken Pasta!
