Start by washing the stock fish and smoked fish thoroughly. Soak the stock fish in hot water for about 20 minutes to soften it.

In a pot, add the cow meat, one chopped onion, and salt. Add enough water to cover the meat and cook until the meat is tender.

While the meat is cooking, blend the melon seeds with a little water to form a smooth paste.

Once the meat is tender, add the soaked stock fish and smoked fish to the pot. Allow to cook for another 10 minutes.
