Rinse the green moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Drain the water and grind the soaked dal with yogurt, ginger paste, and green chilies to form a smooth batter.

Add salt to taste and mix well.

Just before steaming, add Eno fruit salt to the batter and mix gently.

Grease a steaming tray with a little oil and pour the batter into it.
