1In a small bowl, dissolve 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast in 1/3 cup of warm mineral water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of granulated white sugar, and 1 teaspoon of regular table salt.
Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Beat in 4 large chicken eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
Gradually add 1 cup of softened unsalted butter, mixing until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to
5 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or divide it into smaller portions for rolls.
Place the shaped dough into a greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover and let it rise again for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the brioche in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before serving.
