In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
Roll out the pre-made pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie pan.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Cover the pie with the top crust, crimping the edges to seal. Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips and bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Allow the pie to cool for at least 2 hours before serving to let the filling set.
