Preparación
- 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line the base of a 20 cm (8-inch) round cake pan with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt the unsalted butter over low heat or in the microwave, then set it aside to cool slightly.
- 3
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
- 4
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and brown sugar until smooth. Add the maple syrup, melted butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract, then whisk until thoroughly blended.
- 5
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Fold gently with a spatula just until no large streaks of dry flour remain; do not overmix.
- 6
Fold the diced apple and chopped pecans evenly into the batter.
- 7
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top into an even layer.
- 8
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
