1Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon (14g) of ghee over medium heat. Add the sliced apples, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the apples are slightly softened and fragrant.
Add the jaggery to the apples and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring until the jaggery melts and coats the apples. Remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, rolled oats, chopped cashews, chopped pistachios, and salt. Mix well.
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon (14g) of ghee to the dry mixture. Rub the ghee into the mixture with your fingertips until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Transfer the spiced apple mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of yogurt.
