1Grease a square or rectangular tray with a little ghee or oil and set aside.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, add 1 cup milk and heat on medium flame until warm.
Add 2 cups milk powder to the warm milk and mix well to form a smooth mixture without lumps.
Add
5 cup sugar to the mixture and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons corn flour powder and 2 tablespoons maida with a little water to make a smooth slurry.
Add the corn flour and maida slurry to the milk mixture and stir well to combine.
Continue to cook the mixture on low to medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking, until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan (about 8-10 minutes).
Once the mixture reaches a thick, fudge-like consistency, immediately pour it into the greased tray and spread evenly with a spatula.
Allow the barfi to cool for 30-40 minutes at room temperature, then cut into squares or diamonds.
Serve and enjoy your homemade Milk Powder Barfi!
