1Season the trout fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the trout fillets to the skillet, skin side down, and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the flour and stir for about 1 minute until it forms a paste.
Gradually add the white wine to the skillet, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Return the trout fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
Serve the trout fillets hot, garnished with additional sauce if desired.
