Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and brown the beef cubes on all sides. Remove the beef and set aside.

In the same pot, add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes, allowing it to slightly caramelize.

Add the browned beef back into the pot along with the crushed tomatoes, red kidney beans, beef stock, chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Mix well.
