Spiced Apple Cake

   Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

   In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

   Add the applesauce and oil to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

   Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.

   Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

   Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
