1In a mixing bowl, combine 30 g cocoa powder, 40 g milk powder, 80 g sugar, 30 g cornflour powder, and 30 g maida.
Gradually add 500 ml milk to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously to avoid lumps and form a smooth mixture.
Pour the mixture into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and place it over medium heat.
Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and starts to bubble. This should take about 8-10 minutes.
Once the pudding has thickened to your desired consistency, remove it from the heat.
Pour the hot pudding into serving bowls or glasses.
Allow the pudding to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Serve chilled. Optionally, garnish with chocolate shavings or a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
