In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, half of the chopped onion, half of the minced garlic, half of the grated ginger, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and form into small balls.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the lamb balls and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Add the remaining onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until the onion is golden brown.
