Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine 180g all-purpose flour and 50g sugar. Mix well.
Add 1 large egg to the flour mixture and mix until the dough starts to come together. If needed, add a tablespoon of cold water to help bind the dough.
Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the filling by slicing the mixed fruits (apples, berries) into bite-sized pieces.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough into a rough circle about 3-4mm thick.
Transfer the dough to the prepared baking tray. Arrange the mixed fruits in the center of the dough, leaving a 4cm border around the edges.
Drizzle 30g chocolate syrup evenly over the fruits.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pleating as needed to create a rustic edge, leaving the center exposed.
Beat the remaining egg and brush it over the crust for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the fruits are tender.
Allow the galette to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Pi Day Fruit & Chocolate Galette!
