Peel and dice the onion, carrot, and potato into small cubes. Chop the tomatoes and green chilli. Set aside.

Heat a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of oil. Allow the butter to melt and mix with the oil.

Add the diced onion to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.

Add the diced carrot and potato. Stir well and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables start to soften.

Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilli. Mix well and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the vegetables are cooked through.
