Chex Mix Treats

   Measure out 4 cups of Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl.

   In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1/4 cup of butter, and 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips.

   Microwave the peanut butter, butter, and chocolate chip mixture on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth.

   Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the melted mixture.

   Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and stir until the cereal is evenly coated.

   Place 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar in a large zip-top bag.

   Add the chocolate-coated cereal to the bag with the powdered sugar.

   Seal the bag and shake until each piece of cereal is coated with powdered sugar.

   Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet to cool.

    Once cooled, store the Chex Mix Treats in an airtight container.
