Drain the pasta and set aside.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the chicken.
Return the skillet to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve the chicken over the cooked penne pasta, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
