Dahi Ke Kebab
Ingredients
- hung curd (strained yogurt)2 cups
- grated paneer0,5 cup
- finely chopped onions0,25 cup
- chopped coriander2 tablespoons
- green chili, chopped1 piece
- roasted cumin powder0,5 teaspoon
- salt0,5 teaspoon
- whole wheat bread crumbs0,5 cup
- sunflower oil1 tablespoon
Instructions
- 1
Place the hung curd in a large mixing bowl. Add the grated paneer, finely chopped onions, chopped coriander, chopped green chili, roasted cumin powder, and salt.
- 2
Mix all the ingredients gently until well combined, ensuring the mixture is smooth and holds together.
- 3
Add half of the bread crumbs to the mixture and mix again. If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more bread crumbs until it is firm enough to shape.
- 4
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into small, flat kebabs.
- 5
Spread the remaining bread crumbs on a plate. Gently coat each kebab with bread crumbs on both sides.
- 6
Heat sunflower oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 7
Place the kebabs in the pan and shallow fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crisp.
- 8
Remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
- 9
Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dip.
