Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Arrange the chicken wings on the rack in a single layer.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the hot sauce, unsalted butter, white vinegar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Stir the sauce until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat.
Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl.
Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss them until they are evenly coated.
Serve the hot wings immediately with your choice of dipping sauce and enjoy!
