Add the diced tomatoes, thyme, curry powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the rinsed rice to the pot, stirring to ensure the rice is evenly distributed.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Season with salt to taste and fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
