1Peel and devein the shrimp if necessary.
In a bowl, mix the shrimp with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Slice the onion and bell peppers into thin strips.
Mince the garlic cloves.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced onion and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the sautéed onion and bell peppers on each tortilla, followed by the cooked shrimp.
Slice the avocado and add a few slices to each taco.
Serve the Hot Chilli Shrimp Tacos immediately and enjoy!
