    Rinse the sabudana (tapioca pearls) thoroughly in water until the water runs clear. Soak them in water for about 4-5 hours or overnight, ensuring the water level is just above the sabudana.

    Drain the soaked sabudana completely and set aside.

    Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Peel and dice them into small cubes.

    In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
