1Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Peel, core, and dice the apples and pears into bite-sized pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples and pears with 1 tablespoon (14g) of the unsalted butter, garam masala, ground ginger, and half of the brown sugar (50g). Toss well to coat the fruit evenly.
Transfer the fruit mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, remaining brown sugar (50g), salt, and sliced almonds.
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon (14g) of unsalted butter to the dry mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to rub the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
