1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them with a fork several times.
Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until they are tender.
While the potatoes are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and crumble.
Once the potatoes are done, let them cool slightly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, leaving a small border of potato in the skins.
In a bowl, mash the scooped-out potato flesh with the butter until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and Italian style bread crumbs.
Spoon the mixture back into the potato skins, mounding it slightly.
Place the stuffed potatoes on a baking sheet and return them to the oven. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Potatoes!
