Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Arrange the chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to the melted butter. Stir well to combine.
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss them until they are evenly coated.
Serve the spicy chicken wings hot, with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
