1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of water,
5 tablespoons of white sugar,
5 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil and then remove it from the heat.
Stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until the mixture forms a ball.
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the dough onto the prepared baking sheet in long strips.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the churros are golden brown.
In a shallow dish, mix
5 cup of white sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Roll the baked churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still warm.
