Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil.
Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
While the baguette is toasting, dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
Mince the garlic clove and add it to the tomatoes.
Add the balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture and stir to combine.
Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Spread a generous amount of burrata cheese on each baguette slice.
Top each slice with a spoonful of the tomato mixture.
Drizzle a little more olive oil over the top if desired.
